Oostenburg combines the charm of its industrial past with a thriving neighborhood. The Eastern Islands of Amsterdam, near the Marineterrein and Wittenburg, were once home to the largest machine workshop in the Netherlands. Since the 1990s, the area has been revitalized with a mix of residential and commercial spaces.

We jumped at the opportunity to acquire the 6.500 m² former Werkspoor headquarters and factory. An outstanding example of industrial heritage. It is a symbol of a time when people started to think bigger. But the building was now ripe for reinvention.

With its huge atrium, high ceilings and almost freestanding design, it is well on its way to becoming a centerpiece of this exciting new district.
